About Beverly
Beverly, is originally from White Springs, a lovely town of neighborly people. She moved her residency to Lake City in May 1997 closer to her employment. Beverly has enjoyed a distinguished career of employment at the Department of Veteran Affairs in Lake City for 28 years. She attended Florida Gateway College formally known as Lake City Community College where her passion grew to teach children. She’s well trained in Early Childhood Education and is aware of the positive effect of quality early learning experiences in the lives of children. Therefore, Beverly utilized her free time to work as a substitute provider in two (2) Family Childcare Homes for 12 years. She’s often volunteered and taught youth in her Church’s Sunday School and has assisted in her Church’s Children & Young People’s Department (YPD). Beverly is known as a fun loving person and loves to plan events. She’s a proven leader who provides a great structure, but loving environment. She thoroughly enjoys and finds personal gratification in making the difference in a child’s development.
Beverly has decided to dedicate her life to the well-being of children in a larger capacity. She has fostered and provided emergency overnight care for approximately 20 kids and adopted three (3). She currently serves as a member of the Board of Partnership for Strong Families. She also serves as the President of the Foster and Adoption Parent Association in Lake City, FL and surrounding counties. Beverly is excited to offer another option of care to parents in the community and online as she creates an environment where all learning styles are celebrated.
